**IT Manager**

**About the position**

The IT Manager will manage the network and server infrastructure of the resort. The primary duties are the security of the resort’s computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customized systems, and overseeing all computer-related activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage information technology and computer systems.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Manage IT staff, by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Act in alignment with the user's (Employees & Guests) needs and system functionality to contribute to the Resort policy.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
- Supervise and maintain all computer systems within the resort. He will ensure that these services run smoothly by monitoring their efficiency as well as security measures taken against any vulnerabilities in software programs used on a day-to-day basis, ensuring secure operation throughout every department.
- Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
- Managing IT budgets, forecasts, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness
- Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
- Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware
- Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively.
- Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
- Manage the daily backups.
- Lead the planning, enhancing and implementation of the IT infrastructure strategy.
- Keep up to date with current techniques and develop a technical strategy for the resort.
- Maintain relationships with key functions in all areas of the resort to ensure a consistent approach to the delivery of quality products and IT infrastructure.

**Essential Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years of experience (Same Position)
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
