**Job Summary**

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a point of contact for all human resource activities for the functions/rigs they support. Provides advice, assistance, and follow-up on company procedures, and documentation. Works with HR Manager to resolve policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
- Keeps abreast of changes in the business and proactively counsels client groups on the potential impact on the workplace and the workforce
- Works towards standardization of processes and practices in all areas of Human Resources delivery
- Coordinates various personnel movements with other company locations
- Ensures accurate Human Resource Information System records within the client group by actively coordinating HR data management activities within the client group
- Establishes Human Resources visibility and fosters a positive employee relations environment within the client group via field visits and client leadership team participation
- Assists with employee counseling, coaching, terminations, and investigations of alleged harassment, discrimination, or other inappropriate workplace behavior
- Works on special projects as assigned
- Facilitates special projects as assigned within their client group
- Travels to visit assigned offshore units, where permitted, as and when required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Preferred HR Professional Certification such as SHRM or CIPD or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in an offshore drilling sector

**Skills and Experience**
- Strong knowledge of government regulations related to Human Resources issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Expatriate Assignment issues
