The geographical focus of the company is on countries in the Middle East, Africa, and CIS regions. Strategic focus on selected therapeutic categories has contributed to the rapid growth, market acceptance, and overall success of the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a** Senior Legal Manager **for** **International Markets (I.e., all markets where Jamjoom Products are sold - with a primary focus on countries such GCC, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco), you will be leading and managing the legal affairs function for Jamjoom Pharma in the International Markets, ensuring timely provision of legal support to all business units and support functions within these markets. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the legal and corporate governance affairs for all the subsidiaries of Jamjoom Pharma in Egypt and Algeria, and other International Markets. You will be reporting and working closely with the Group Legal Director based in KSA.

The primary responsibility of this position will be:

- Legal advisory and consultation
- Company assets and Contract Management
- Corporate Governance and Legal Policies
- Other areas of support as described below:
**Legal advisory and consultation**
- Provide legal counsel to the business leaders in the International Markets, as well as participate in business reviews, strategic planning, and key initiatives in the International Markets
- Attend and actively participate in the Country/Cluster Management Forums across the International Markets
- Provide legal advice and guidance to International Markets on a broad range of legal issues - such as advising on distribution agreements, promotion agreements, employment matters, contract drafting and interpretation, regulatory matters, anti-trust matters, business development, tender and government procurement, commercial deals, quality and supply, medical information, procurement, privacy law issues, product divestment and acquisitions, product complaints, compliance, IP and counterfeit complaints
- Review of promotional and marketing strategy and materials making sure it is in line with the applicable laws and regulations
- Establish good working relationships with all levels of management, assuring the proper climate for effective use of legal services and ensuring that all International Markets are being serviced adequately by legal affairs
- Review and manage the use of outside counsel, as needed, to ensure excellent and cost-effective services in the international markets.

**Company Assets and Contract Management**
- Leading the implementation of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM); being primary custodian for the CLM Policy and SOP, and driving its implementation
- Tracking and managing Intellectual Property with focus on proper management of the Company’s Trademarks strategy and portfolio
- Negotiate, draft and settle contracts and other commercial agreements to safeguard the Company’s interests and progress the Company’s strategy
- Keep track and control over the risk management tracker of IP and contracts.

**Corporate Governance and Legal Policies**
- Ensure adequate document retention and authority filing systems are in place and up to date for all Jamjoom Pharma subsidiaries
- Support Company secretary in preparing, drafting, filing, and keeping up to date all corporate documents such as articles of associations, board resolutions, general assemblies, and other corporate documents
- Support the Compliance team in ensuring that all Jamjoom Pharma’s policies, laws, regulations and industry policies are adhered to; in addition to conducting legal education and training sessions on Jamjoom Pharma’s policies and local laws and codes to ensure the Company is meeting its legal obligations, as necessary
- Raise and approve(where necessary) Policy Exceptions and significant Risks
- Ensure emerging legal risks are identified and escalated appropriately and in a timely manner and work on risk mitigation projects within legal to resolve and mitigate such risks
- Perform legal due diligence requirements within third-party framework
- Provide training and education program to ensure ongoing awareness on new and updated Regulations, Policies and Standards within the Company

**Other Legal Support**
- Manage litigation with the assistance of outside counsel
- Develop and maintain contacts with outside organizations and public institutions relating to the interests and needs of the legal function and Jamjoom Pharma across the international markets and project a favorable image of Jamjoom Pharma.
- Support management and compliance of overall Business Unit inspection readiness activities and CAPAs in liaison with the business
- Support IT to Monitor and identify risks related Cybersecurity and Data Security Laws
