**Position Summary**:
Contribute to the overall Nestle’ Professional success by achieving & exceeding Starbucks sales revenue and profit objectives with new and existing accounts. Responsible for expanding Starbucks sales in the designated OOH channels by maximizing sales revenues & profit.
**A day in the life of...**:
- Leads the development & execution plans of the brand sales in the designated channels of the business
- Creates and inspires a team of Account Managers.
- Coaches the team to enhance their performance / ability and improve skills on gap analysis, analytical work to ensure achievement of targets.
- Develops & implements (through the field team) national account promotional activity plan that drives rate of sale and improves retention.
- Manages identification & execution of incremental point of purchase (POP) plan within existing outlets.
- Leads new business engagement which drives new distribution within the channel.
- Works collaboratively with the customer development team.
- Constantly reviews the coffee industry/market key trends to identify areas of growth and opportunities for improvement. Also identifies potential areas of risk to Starbucks.
- Develops channel plans & strategies to deliver ambitions
- Creates an annual sales plan by identifying the appropriate volume, distribution, visibility & POP opportunities and strategies to maximize growth & achievement of objectives.
- Updates quarterly reflecting any variance to and develops plans to close the gaps and maximize growth.
- Develops best in class understanding of customer / channel including the ability to articulate Starbucks customers’ own commercial goals and KPIs. Understands the value that Starbucks contributes to these goals.
- Visibility - maximizing brand visibility within brand guardrails.
- Promotional Activity - executing brand & national account activity to drive rate of sale.
- Range - securing incremental POP within existing customer ledger.
- New Business - securing incremental new business that also drives Starbucks brand equity.
- Analyses sales trends and contributes to monthly sales forecast.
- Shares best practices and regularly evaluates own performance and development areas with head of Starbucks.
- Leads OOH team contribution in relevant community events.
- Leads coffee ambassadors, developing a coffee quality strategy and promoting coffee through training sessions, coffee tastings and aroma labs.
**What will make you successful**:
- FMCG experience is a must
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Portfolio Management, Business Development and Sales.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
- Comfortable working with numbers and able to use data to support decision making.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- You will, ultimately, be responsible for managing one of the world’s biggest brands. This will demand an ability to work under pressure, be curios, passionate and drive change within the business.
