We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management.
**Sales Manager, Responsibilities**:
**Develop and Implement Sales Strategies**
- Analyze market trends, identify target customers, and develop effective sales strategies to build and expand the customer base.
- Develop and implement go-to-market and pitch decks to effectively present the company's products and services to potential customers.
- Build a comprehensive sales funnel on the CRM to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions throughout the sales process.
**Set Sales Goals and Targets**
- Establish clear and measurable sales goals for the team, ensuring alignment with the overall company objectives.
- Set individual sales targets for each team member, taking into account their experience, skills, and performance history.
- Regularly review and adjust sales goals based on market conditions, team performance, and company objectives.
**Monitor Sales Performance and Track Data**
- Monitor sales performance metrics, tracking key indicators such as sales volume, conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and average deal size.
- Analyze extracted data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to optimize the sales process.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about sales strategies, resource allocation, and individual performance coaching.
**Motivate and Coach Sales Representatives**
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve high performance through a combination of recognition, rewards, and incentives.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance reviews to help salespeople improve their skills, identify areas for growth, and overcome challenges.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
**Manage and Allocate Resources**
- Manage and allocate resources, including budget, time, and technology, to support the sales team's efforts.
- Prioritize activities, ensure efficient resource utilization, and make strategic decisions to maximize the return on investment (ROI).
- Seek additional resources when necessary to support the team's growth and meet sales targets.
**Build and Maintain Relationships with Key Stakeholders**
- Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and coordination across the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, partners, and investors.
- Proactively identify and address any potential issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.
**Negotiate and Close Deals**
- Negotiate and close deals; leverage expertise and experience to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Guide salespeople through the negotiation process, providing advice and support as needed.
- Celebrate successes and learn from failures to continuously improve negotiation skills.
**Contribute to Overall Business Strategy**
- Provide valuable input to the company's overall business strategy, sharing insights from the sales front and contributing to the development of growth plans and initiatives.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure the sales department's goals align with the company's broader objectives.
- Proactively identify and recommend new market opportunities and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth.
**Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven sales experience, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of sales representatives.
- Experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, including go-to-market plans and sales funnels.
- Experience in negotiating and closing deals with major clients or high-value accounts is crucial.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring timely and efficient execution, is crucial.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to track performance and optimize processes is necessary.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify areas for improvement is crucial.
