Job title: Junior Budget officer
Purpose: Develops budgeting and financial record keeping procedures to guarantee efficient coordination of various departmental, grant, and designated accounts, keeps correct information about the cost center's financial state, and advises the immediate supervisor on financial decisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares the payment request for all the project and grant transactions
- Keeps control of the actual expenses and compare the in detail to the budget line items
- Invoicing, financial reporting, reconciliations, re-budgeting and other grant functions.
- Assists with budget development and budget control
- Using GUC regulations and procedures, as well as cost analysis
- Creates regular and unique budget reports.
- Compile budgets and submit them for approval.
- Assists in comparing actual results to budgeted results.
- Keeps budget records up to date by making copies and filing documents.
Qualifications:
- BSc of commerce or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Excellent command of English & Arabic (Written & Spoken)
- Excellent with numbers and figures.
- Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
