What you’ll achieve
As a VMware Outside Sales Specialist you will manage accounts in a given BU, focusing on developing and retaining customers, as well as Acquisition of new customers or adding software business to their existing Dell business.
You will
- Proactively solves customer business problems by providing expertise and by using higher complexity product and services lines to create solutions
- Manages & leads the relationship within group of accounts to ensure VMware opportunities and solutions are identified and closed. Attain sales target on revenue for VMware.
- Regularly engaged at customer facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong licensing skills
- Communicates technology roadmaps and vision and associated technical advantages of the proposed VMware solution.
- Recommends product and service configurations to assist with overall system design and integration. Educate, train our core sales team to pitch VMware value added proposal.

Essential requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5 - 7 years of proven track record of face to face selling in IT industry
- Business development, relationship management and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and planning skills - ability to present to senior executives
- Medium to high level technical knowledge of enterprise software - should be viewed as a trusted advisor to the customer.
- Fluent in English
Desirable Requirements
- Preferred VMware Sale Professional (VSP) certification
- Experience selling enterprise software such as VMware, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Knowledge of transformative technologies such as Cloud, IT Transformation, Workforce Transformation, etc.
