Amideast Egypt seeks a STEM/Sustainability Consultant for the STEM Competition for Sustainability. Sponsored by Boeing, Amideast’s STEM Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is initiated to empower entrepreneurs across Egypt to showcase their innovative answers to global and/or community challenges to help in creating a more sustainable world.

The STEM/Sustainability Consultant will prepare the rubrics and assessments needed for the competition with the help of an Entrepreneurship Expert. S/he will also participate in the selection of the panel members, guestlist, and mentors.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Meet with the Amideast team to decide on the competition details and requirements
- Be a committee member for competition selection and interviews
- Conduct a calibration session with the selected panel members for the developed rubrics and assessments
- Participate in the selection of the guest list for the competition
- Participate in the selection of the mentors for the shortlisted applicants who passed the interview phase
- Participate in the selection of the Mentors/ Experts for the two-day bootcamp for the contestants who did not pass the interview phase
- Conduct interviews to select the most competent and suitable applicants
- Evaluate and compare selection results, interview notes and scores with other panel members

**DELIVERABLES**:

- Competition rubrics for the following competition phases:

- Applications’ filtration
- Interviews
- Competition day
- Calibration session for the selected panel members about the prepared rubrics and assessments
- Panel members recommendations for each phase
- Guestlists recommendations for the competition day
- Mentors/ experts recommendations the two-day bootcamp for the contestants who did not pass the interview phase
- Mentors’ recommendations for the shortlisted applicants who passed the interview phase
- Interviews notes and scores for each applicant

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in education or related STEM/Sustainability field; Master’s degree in Education or related STEM/Sustainability field preferred.
- Experience implementing different STEM/Sustainability Competitions on the national and international levels is a must.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
