As a power electronics engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of power systems and components for our current and future AC drive products.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Design and develop innovative power electronics systems, components, and products that meet and exceed customer expectations, with a primary focus on power electronics and some involvement in control electronics. This includes a particular focus on AC drives
- Utilize power system analysis tools to evaluate, simulate, and optimize power flow and conversion within our products
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics engineers, mechanics engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to translate customer needs into actionable engineering solutions
- Embrace an agile development approach, actively participating in regular team meetings, sprints, and iterative design processes, ensuring efficient collaboration and timely project delivery
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of power systems and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, knowledge in EMC is a valuable asset
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in power electronics engineering and integrate relevant advancements into our product development processes
- Fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, processes, and tools, driving efficiency and innovation

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Power Electronics and Drives or a related field
- Proven track record of 5-8 years of experience in power electronics engineering, with a focus on product development
- Proficiency in power simulation tools and other relevant engineering software
- Strong knowledge of power electronics design, from components (IGBT, SiC Mosfets, power modules, dc-link) over modules (rectifier, gate drive, inverter, SMPS, sensing circuits) and printed circuit board design to product level
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges and find creative solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for being part of a highly effective and cohesive team
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Experience with EMC is preferred but not mandatory
