Danfoss Drives is looking for an ECAD Designer to join a global organization, which is leading in developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art frequency converters. You will be based in Graasten, Denmark and will work close together with our local manufacturing and R&D site.

You will be a vital player on a team of 9 highly competent and engaged employees, whose focus is to develop and optimize our product design and ECAD processes. Join us and become a part of an exciting journey - being number one in the low voltage drives business.

**Responsibilities**:
If you take the challenge as our new ECAD Designer, you will be responsible for board-designs, change control as well as focusing on analysis and problem solving in order to optimize design and reduce errors.

You will be in contact with a wide range of stakeholders and create alignment within the production, and, together with the rest of the project team, you will be responsible ECAD designer for developing and optimizing new products as well as existing designs.

Your key tasks include:

- Draw schematics in Cadence in close corporation with HW engineers
- Complete layouts, both high and low voltage, with the use of Cadence, in close corporation with HW engineers and supply chain representatives
- Perform SI and PI simulation on board level
- Assist the ECAD librarian with defining and creation of components
- Maintain internal design guidelines and design rules together with colleagues in close collaboration with internal PCBA production

**Background & Skills**:
There are several paths into this job, you can be a newly graduated Electronic Engineer with an eagerness to learn and develop, or you are an experienced Electronic Technician with proven work experience in ECAD and production of electronics. We expect that you have knowledge within board-design, both high and low voltage, as well as DFM (design for manufacturing) know-how.

More important, is that you bring a lot of drive and energy into your work, and that you can keep the greater sense of perspective and act accordingly. You are curious and creative but keep your feet solid on the ground even when working under pressure. Equally you have an analytical mindset, which enables you to find the best solutions and present complex information. This is to ensure alignment within a matrix organization, across different cultures and facilities. You communicate efficiently with colleagues and other stakeholders, and you master English fluently, both orally and in writing.
