**Responsibilities**:
As our new Test Engineer, you will join a dynamic work environment with various tasks and responsibilities. You'll be an integral part of our team, focusing on the qualification and validation of frequency converters and associated systems in compliance with EMC standards. You'll play a crucial role in testing new components for internal and external EMC requirements, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
- Execute tests on frequency converters and report findings.
- Analyze and interpret test results, providing valuable insights to the development teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create effective test plans.
- Develop precise test specifications to guide the testing process.
- Maintain and plan calibration of EMC test instruments.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Drive continuous improvements in laboratory processes and the quality system.

Expect occasional traveling days to work at our semi-anechoic test laboratory in Flensburg.

**Background & Skills**:
To excel in this role, you'll need to have a genuine interest in technology and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Your hands-on approach, positive demeanor, and strong interpersonal skills will be essential. Key qualifications include:

- Degree in electro-technics or engineering, establishing your technical foundation.
- Solid experience in EMC design or testing, demonstrating your expertise.
- Understanding of HF signals to unravel the mysteries of electromagnetic disturbances.
- Prior work experience in a test laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with test systems such as spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, and power meters.
- Ideally, experience in power electronics.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards.
- Competence in the field of Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
- Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
