**Project Overview**

Pathfinder International is seeking a Positive Youth Development Team Lead for the newly USAID-funded OSRA program. The OSRA program is five-year Pathfinder-led USAID-funded project. The goal of the OSRA program is to improve family health outcomes by reinforcing the national family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) program in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP). The OSRA program will achieve this purpose through the three pivotal results: 1) Women’s and men’s uptake and continuation of voluntary family planning services increased; 2) Youth equipped with knowledge and skills necessary to make healthy life choices; and 3) Gender dynamics improved for enhanced voluntary family planning and reproductive health outcomes. The OSRA program will closely collaborate with different local stakeholders and other Government of Egypt (GOE) entities to attain its results.

**Job Purpose**

The PYD Team Lead will work closely with the Chief of Party (COP) and Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) to lead the strategic direction of the adolescent and youth activities and ensure integration of PYD Strategy principles. S/He will work in close collaboration with the FP/RH Team Lead, Gender, and Inclusion Team Lead, and Social Behaviour Change Team Lead and will coordinate closely with OSRA’s program partners and staff. The PYD Team Lead will report to Assistant Country director and will directly supervise a Youth Engagement Advisor and guide Community Officers at the governorate level.

**Key Job responsibilities**
- Provide cross-cutting management across all three objective areas in identifying, developing, implementing, and evaluating issues related to adolescents and youth.
- Lead the design and implementation of the project’s adolescent and youth strategy and activities.
- Develop innovative approaches to advancing adolescent and youth strategies.
- Provide ongoing technical support for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs with youth-focused outcomes.
- Provide support to the DCOP to track and report adolescent and youth indicators and disaggregate data by these technical characteristics to analyze results.
- Prepare all project reports to USAID to ensure quality and full compliance with reporting requirements.
- Discuss youth issues and priorities with senior management and other technical staff.
- Set up and maintain an effective adolescent and youth program files and record keeping system using effective
- Serves as the program liaison between OSRA and various partners and stakeholders involved in adolescent and youth activities.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Minimum Education and Work Experience**:

- At least 10 years relevant work experience with adolescent and youth interventions, preferably in a USAID context
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in public health, sociology, or a similar field.
- Prior experience integrating adolescent and youth components throughout strategic plans, workplans, and/or activity plans for FP topics
- Experience working in Egypt. Experience working in the broader MENA region is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and Arabic are required.
- Experience interacting with central and local government, donor agencies, development partners, civil society, and community-based organizations.
- Ability to sustain interpersonal and professional relationships with internal colleagues and contacts in donor and peer organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

**Minimally Required Job-Specific Competencies**:

- Languages: Foundational writing and speaking skills using local language and English language.
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Services: Foundational knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, practices, and services of assigned program.
