Be part of the Security & Risk Office (SRO) as we are seeking a Privacy Operations Lead. The Lead will facilitate and meet privacy obligations to ensure operational compliance with the applicable requirements under data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA. The Lead will provide expert guidance to our internal teams and ensure adequate data handling practices within our Software as a Service (SaaS) and customer support organizations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establishes privacy compliance tools, policies, training, communications, and other resources.
- Provides global and regional support to assist in the development, implementation, and day-to-day privacy related activities.
- Assists in assessing compliance risks and developing mitigating strategies.
- Coordinates with legal and other substantive compliance experts in the business to ensure compliance with policies and the law.
- Provide advice and support on all matters related to data privacy.
- Respond to privacy right requests.
- Provide guidance on website cookies management and compliance.
- Review and operationalize Data Processing Agreements for clients and providers.
- Operationalize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
- Manage and maintain RSA’s sub processor list and notify clients of any intended changes.
- Act as the point of contact for privacy incidents and any mandated notifications.
- Provide privacy program development updates to leadership.
- Respond to client inquiries and questionnaires relating to privacy compliance.
- Accountable for performing and maintaining privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and any related mitigation plans.
- Support internal Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). Particularly, ensure third parties are compliant with applicable privacy laws and contractual obligations.
- Continue to maintain RSA’s Records of Processing Activities.
- Develop and maintain privacy policies and standards.
- Support the review and negotiation (in conjunction with counsel) of data protection agreements.
- Establish and administer auditable documents regarding the company’s privacy practices.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure Privacy by Design and privacy controls are incorporated across the company’s products and services. Help the technical teams align with the required data protection controls and documentation.
- Work with internal stakeholders to analyze business initiatives, including new products and processes, to determine whether they comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with all internal teams, including IT, Engineering and SRO, to design and execute data mapping in order to identify and document all assets.
- Collaborate with other SRO team members to enhance existing incident management plans to ensure privacy obligations are embedded and executed.
- Develop, track and deliver privacy awareness training to various business functions.
- Stay up to date on ever-changing worldwide privacy landscape and advise the business accordingly.
- Demonstrate risk-based flexibility in your approach to operationalize privacy matters and priorities

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
- 5+ years enterprise experience, with 3+ years of experience in a hands-on Privacy or Data Protection role.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of global data privacy regulations and guidelines (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, etc.)
- IAPP CIPT, CIPP/E/US, Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) certifications preferred.
- Strong written documentation experience with development of policies, standards, and other data privacy guidance documents.
- Results-driven and accountability-minded.
- Strong matrix management and partnering skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities.
