Cairo, Egypt Pathfinder International Full time

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**:
With mínimal administrative oversight, essential responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

- Develop, implement, and provide oversight of outreach and engagement strategies to solicit and strengthen community engagement of WESE activities
- Develop and sustain relationships with external stakeholders, including but not limited to local NGOs/CDAs, Private Sector, GOE officials at the local level
- Liaise closely with WESE COP/DCOP and Communications Advisor to design communications tools, including messaging and outreach efforts to promote WESE activities to the community;
- In collaboration with the technical team, design and facilitate cross cutting events and meetings, as well as community roundtables and working groups meetings.
- Liaise regularly with Field Implementation Manager to set up site visits, community events, and presentations
- In collaboration with the COP/DCOP, plan facilitation tools and Agendas for national activities and events with WESE stakeholders (working groups, and SCs)
- Liaise with Field Manager and Officers to ensure full engagement with local NGOs/CDAs
- Support the technical team to assess training needs, plan, and implement (if needed) training activities.
- In coordination with Team Leads, support the development and implementation (if needed) of training materials and/or other private sector activities and events
- Ensures full compliance with USAID rules and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in any related field AND a minimum of five years of related experience OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Experience in field work and building community partnerships, as well as facilitating trainings
- Experience in USAID funded projects or development donors is highly preferred.

- Advanced skills in facilitating events with stakeholders at all levels
- Advanced training skills and leading roundtable discussions
- Skill in both verbal and written communication.
- Skill in organizing and coordinating.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Willing and able to perform assigned duties in a manner that is sensitive to different personalities, sensitive to community dynamics
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to analyze, create, and present custom data reports
- Team player who possesses group-thinking skills
**Effort, Reporting and Other Administrative Requirements**:
The Community Engagement Specialist is a full-time position that reports to the Deputy Chief of Party who will coordinate with he/she on all programmatic aspects of his/her employment, including but not limited to job description, duties, qualifications, working environment, and performance. The Community Engagement Specialist will be based in Cairo, Egypt.
**Working environment**:
This position will include intensive interaction with technical team leads and field team and offices. The position will include frequent local travel to various locations within Egypt, specifically WESE defined governorates.
