**About the role**:
Role Overview:
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design and build the needed quality control practice to allow different development team to work on same platfrom.
- Responsible to participate with Technical Architects and Developers on enhancement/change request to understand better the business and technical requirements.
- Accountable and responsible to develop and execute “test plans” and “test cases”, based on business and technical requirements.
- Code review, to make sure it is following the development standards and design patterns.
- Work with the Development team for creating data sets for testing purposes if needed.
- Debug errors/defects effectively to ensure 0% future occurrence.
- Perform regression testing with all testing scenarios to ensure the validity and integrity of all modules.
- Perform software upgrade testing for ServiceNow periodical upgrades, on testing instances, prior to production instance upgrades.
- Act pro-actively to prevent/reduce future bugs/defects.
- Provide effective reporting on testing results and metrics on a periodic basis.
- Continually work towards making improvements in the QC process, metrics, and tools.
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect delivery time, scope, and cost, from the QC perspective.

**About you**:
Qualifications and Skills:

- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or a related field).
- 10+ years of SW Quality assurance and Control/Application Testing experience.
- 2+ years of IT experience in a multinational environment.
- Professional experience with ERP Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Automation Testing.
- Ability to build test automation infrastructure, develop test cases, test steps, and simulation scenarios of complex products from business requirements, to maximize testing coverage and accuracy with the optimal testing effort.
- Good knowledge in Java, JavaScript, (or C++), APIs and Web Services concepts (REST, SOAP), Database Management, Design, and SQL.
- Solid knowledge of various QC processes, the SDLC process, and the Agile framework.
- Good knowledge of computer networks.
- Excellent English skills, French is a plus.
- ServiceNow platform or other ITSM tools experience is a plus.
- ITIL Certification/knowledge of the ITIL framework is a plus.
- ISTQB, CAST, or CASTP certification is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage and priorities a varied and complex workload.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and suggest, negotiate, agree, and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Ability to perform under pressure and to work using own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Highly collaborative at all levels, interfacing with both technical and non-technical staff, and able to give/receive critical feedback.

Quality Control Job Pillars

- 1**ENH/DEF**
- The testing of a single (or more) enhancement/defect.- 2**Regression Testing**
- Ensuring that other modules/systems are not affected by the newly introduced change, or fixed defect.- 3**Full Project Assignment**

Analysis/requirement gathering sessions.

**Health Check**
- Conducting the needed health check after Go-Live implementations to ensure the right functionality on the production instance, in addition to 0% impact on other functionalities/modules.- 6**Testing Automation**
- Introducing Automation as a quick/reliable tool to conduct ENH/DEF testing, in addition to regression testing.- 7**Upgrades**

The long testing process that precedes upgrades, testing all modules and integrations of all external tools and customers.

Major upgrades per year.

- No. of analysis sessions attended.
- No. of testing sessions attended.
- Actual test cases prepared.

- The time taken for each test case preparation.

- No. of business requirements revisited/changed with technical Architect (Requirement’s validity/completion).
- The actual number of test cases that were successful from the first attempt.
- The actual number of test cases that were successful after the Second Attempt.
- The actual number of test cases that were successful after 3 (or more) attempts.
- The actual number of test cases that were not successful and required re-engineering.
