IT Sales Manager

Objective: The IT Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve sales targets by developing business strategies attracting new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The role demands a deep understanding of the software and ERP market competitive landscape and customer needs to sell software solutions effectively.
IT Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets. Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and understand competitor strategies.
Team Leadership and Management: Lead motivate and manage the IT sales team to ensure they are achieving their sales targets. Provide training and support to improve their sales skills product knowledge and customer service practices.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong longlasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable CMMS and ERP solutions that meet their business objectives.
IT Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics (e.g. monthly quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) to identify areas for improvement. Adjust sales techniques and strategies as needed.
IT Product Demonstration and Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of the CMMS and ERP software to potential clients.
Contract Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate contracts with clients ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients. Close sales and work with the customer success team to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction.
IT Market Analysis and Reporting: Keep abreast of new product launches changes in the market and industry trends. Provide detailed reports on sales activities revenues and expenses to the upper management.
Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the marketing product development and customer service teams to ensure cohesive company efforts and customer satisfaction.
RequirementsRequirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in IT Engineering IT Business Administration or a related field.
- Prefer sales executive experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Prefer Prior experience in selling ERP or software or technology solutions
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
