**_ Title:_**_ Word Press CMS Developer_

**_ Reporting to:_**_ CTO / Core Team Lead_

As our Word Press CMS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying code for one of our key clients in the Pharmaceutical space. We have designed, built and delivered a website, CMS platform and React Native Mobile app, which will be translated and rolled out across multiple countries in the next 12 months.

The role is client facing so communication is key. You will be managing the delivery of multiple translation, roll out projects and feature enhancements whilst overseeing and troubleshooting any production support instances which are already live. The role will require working from home on a daily basis and becoming part of Voodoo Park’s Development Team, reporting to the CTO. This is a long term, full time contract

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- PHP Programming skills
- Aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the colour and font choices etc.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.
- An understanding of the entire web development process, including planning, estimating, design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong English language skills.
- Architect, build and maintain excellent clean code.
- Integrate third-party API's.
- Provide accurate effort estimates
- Work with tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs.
- Exposure to React and NodeJS is required
- SQL knowledge is required
- Git experience is required
- Minimum 5 Years Experience

**Desirable Skills & Experience**:

- Drupal or Wordpress specialisation is a huge plus
- Be part of a community of Drupal developers who share knowledge and help each other as problems arise.
- React Native is a plus
- Could experience is a plus (especially Azure)
- Experience of other technologies such as JavaScript, CSS and Single-Page Applications.
- Experience of developing and supporting CMS platform, specifically Drupal
- Experience or understanding of Agile development methodologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Keep the client updated and attend weekly delivery meetings to provide updates
- Availability for meetings with project teams and co-workers as and when needed during the working day.
- The initial quality and suitability of code developed for the task’s requirements. The checking and testing of this code before handing over to QA.
- Strict management of code and assets using Voodoo Park’s code repositories.
