**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Lead web development of an e-commerce marketplace and ensure the technical feasibility of designs while maintaining user-centric focus.
- Maintain a keen eye for design and user experience.
- Drive project management for large scale site initiatives.
- Deliver quality code that incorporates responsive/mobile designs.
- Optimize in-browser experience and site response times.
- Manage dedicated environments for dev, staging and production.
- Implement technical SEO, A/B testing and other site optimization initiatives

**Education**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

**Experience & Requirements**:

- 2+ years' experience in front-end development.
- 2+ years of experience developing WordPress and/or Shopify websites as well as custom-build, theme/template modifications, installation, and 3rd party plugin integrations.
- 2+ years of PHP, Python, Ruby, SQL, HTML5/SCSS/JS, React, jQuery, Backbone.js, NodeJS, Liquid experience; CSS Frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap.
- 1+ years of experience developing custom themes preferred.
- Direct to consumer eCommerce experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of CMS platforms, especially WordPress and Shopify.
- Operate with excellence and an attention to detail.
- Passionate, organized, comfortable managing multiple development projects at once.
- Ability to prioritize work with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organizational interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects and work with different teams.
- Experience in meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong English (written and spoken).
