Bicc Product Owner

**Role purpose**:
The product owner is typically a project's key stakeholder. Part of the product owner responsibilities is to:

- Have a vision of what he or she wishes to build on Finance Automation Journey
- Convey that vision to the Agile team
- Own product backlog, which is a prioritized features list for the Finance Automation Projects based on Set KPIs

The product owner's job is to motivate the team with a clear, elevating goal.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Acting as Finance department SPOC for automation projects requirements to Technology.
- Creates, owns and maintains the Product Backlog
- Prioritizes and sequences the Backlog according to business value, cost of feature & the risks it imposes to the product.
- Conveys the Vision and Goals at the beginning of every (Release and Sprint)/ (Story and EPIC)
- Writes user stories which are the Agile requirements, explain them to the team.
- Does business analysis role in the light of the designed KPIs, for measuring performance of the developed tools and Automations
- Provide insights for strategic planning and roadmap to Finance automation journey
- Secure planning for on time delivery.
- Translate business requirements into sliced user stories, using definition of Ready.
- Owning E2E product’s implementation journey on Jira, using definition of Done.
- Encourage self-service BI ,Challenge and enrich requirements to maximize value return vs cost, capitalizing on BI tools on hand.

**Core competencies, knowledge, and experience**:

- Understanding of Finance Processes
- Understanding of telecom business.
- Good Experience of DWH tools and techniques
- Excellent communication, presentation & skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Proven track record of product ownership of complex software projects with agile methodology.
- Being a Certified Agile Product owner is an advantage, with the ability to manage multiple projects comfortably.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Certified Agile product owner/Agile Business Value Analysis
- Have 3 years+ of proven hands-on experience in product ownership in agile environments, especially, in a product owner role.
- A strong business background and ability to understand telecom/Finance Automation requirements.
- DWH various experience is a Plus
- Exceptional communication, organizational & analysis skills.
- Handle change of requirements smoothly with both business and technical side
- Ability to maintain calm attitude during difficult situations and handle pressure situations.
- Creative and efficient in user story/features writing.
- Strong team player in the team to deliver business goals.
- Self-starter & self-motivated with a drive to identify opportunities for Upselling One to One offers to Customers.
- Highly independent, takes ownership, does not need to be told what to do and seeks feedback and execute actions.
- Hold experience in understanding what drives value, along with budgeting techniques that can influence the balance of work the development team may work on in any given sprint.
- Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, and can be comfortable in balancing and setting realistic expectations with the customers.
- With support from the Scrum Master, be able to translate stakeholder requests into well-structured, concise backlog items that drives conversation and refinement with the development team.
- Work within the Scrum team to set realistic sprint goals and be available to support the development team in their efforts to achieve that goal.
