**Opportunity Description**:
Title: Rail and Metro Design Verification and Validation Manager
Location: 6th October
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust design verification and validation plans for rail and metro projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the validation of design requirements through comprehensive testing, verification, and validation activities (EMC, Noise Study, Stray Current,... etc), ensuring the alignment of design solutions with project objectives and safety standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to review design specifications, assess design risks, and establish validation protocols to support the development of safe and reliable rail and metro systems.
- Manage the execution of design verification tests, collaborate with testing teams, and analyze test results to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of design solutions.
- Oversee the documentation of design validation activities and results, prepare validation reports, and provide recommendations for design improvements and compliance enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in design verification and validation within the rail and metro industry, with a focus on system safety and compliance.
- Proven track record of managing design validation activities for complex rail or metro projects, demonstrating expertise in validation testing and analysis.
- Strong understanding of safety-critical standards and design assurance processes specific to the rail and metro industry, including familiarity with EN 50126 and CENELEC standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure the adherence of design solutions to quality and safety requirements.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of design validation tools and software for simulation, modeling, and testing of rail and metro systems (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
- Experience with reliability engineering, failure analysis, and fault tolerance methods applicable to rail and metro design validation.
- Familiarity with system safety lifecycle management and its integration with design verification and validation processes.
- Understanding of industry-specific technologies and systems, such as positive train control (PTC), signaling systems, and automatic train control (ATC).
- Certification in systems engineering or design validation (e.g., CSEP, INCOSE certification) is advantageous.
