**Key Responsibilities**
- Evaluate and measure agency partners to expand the network and improve service coverage.
- Develop business functions plan or unit plans.
- Develop strategies for resource planning and utilization.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, hauliers, shipowners, shipping lines/agents and customers.
- Manage compliance with risk management frameworks, policies and processes.
- Manage issues arising from cargo operations and customs clearance.
- Monitor the targets achieved against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee billings to voyage accounts of clients, shipowners and shipping lines.
- Oversee implementation of workflow improvements to improve efficiency.
- Plan where ships are to berth to enable cargo loading or discharge.
- Prepare and Analyze reports on ship agency activities.
- Analyzing performance and drawing up action plans.
- Establishing strong relationships with staff and clients.
- Ensuring all staff exercise good time management.
- Obeying agency regulations, guidelines, and policies, and ensuring staff does the same.
- Researching current industry/market trends and using knowledge for business improvement.

**Required Skills**:

- Should have previous experience within a shipping agency
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multinational company.
- Knowledge of containers and its movement, trade lanes, port, harbor, pricing, customs and immigration activities and procedures, and necessary legal requirements.
- Knowledge of Terminal operating systems, shipping operations, vessel services and port rotations.
- Should be numeric and be able to problem solve under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Familiar with industry standard software and be fully competent in Microsoft Windows
- Fluent in English & Arabic

Job Location**:Libya (Misurata)**

**Type of Employment**:Permanent / Full time

**Salary**:USD 3000/Month
