We’re looking for an Assistant Manager Inventory & Quality Control to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq This role will require you to maintain inventory on the stocks in the warehouse and talabat mart stores

What’s On Your Plate?
- Monitoring stock level and records accuracy of ~ 100K lines
- Leading a team of 4 direct reports (inventory controllers), accountable for their performance
- Planning and execution of spot checks and cycle counts in a timely manner
- Reporting directly to top management for modifications and shrinks
- Reviewing all inventory control processes and making sure we always run lean and efficient processes
- Maintaining optimal inventory profitability levels and issuing recommendations to improve GMROI
- Coming up with new reports that have a direct impact on business performance
- Accountable for the overall Inventory and quality control of warehouse and inventory control of tmart stores of in the UAE
- Establishing relationships with main departments stakeholders: operations, commercial, demand planning, finance, etc. to ensure smooth collaboration across divisions
- Guidance to operations to maintain shrink and modification rate low as it affects the P&L
- Responsible for warehouse inventory by performing spot checks and cycle counts following predefined periodic cycle counts

What Did We Order?
- Prior experience as an inventory controller
- Data and detail oriented
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, and always hands-on with several tools
- Ability to interact/guide the senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders
- Tech Savvy
- Provides day-to-day supervision to a team including coaching on performance, coordinating activities, checking on quality and work progress
- Leads, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, has supervisory responsibilities
