**Front-end Engineer - KnockoutJS (remote Egypt)**

**We are looking for Front-end Engineer who can write clean, well-designed, readable, and elegant code and has hands-on experience with KnockoutJS framework**. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Design, implement and test new platform features and enhancements
- Acquire knowledge of existing code and refactor code as needed to meet the needs of
- the evolving platform
- Collaborate and work with other members of the team to deliver high quality product
- code on time
- Estimate level of effort to code and test moderately difficult to complex requirements
- Create key project deliverables, including technical specifications, unit tests, and tested
- code
- Submit status updates on all project activities to the Team Lead/Project Manager

**Experience / Qualifications**
- Typically 2 - 4 years developing software in **KnockoutJS**:

- English (spoken and written)

**Technical Skills required**
- Demonstrated expertise in UI development using JavaScript, **especially KnockoutJS **Familiarity with source control processes & tools (eg. Git, BitBucket, Subversion, CVS)
- Experience with IDE’s (eg. Eclipse, WebStorm, VisualStudio Code)
- Experience with any of the following JavaScript frameworks such as React or Node.js
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, Less, AJAX and related UI and frontend

**Advantage skills**:

- Experience working with ecommerce systems
- Experience with Cloud (SaaS) concepts, architecture and delivery model beneficial
- Experience working with REST APIs

**Please note that this role requires availability from Monday to Friday.**

**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
