This role reports to the Regional Commercial Manager and requires close collaboration with a highly experienced and motivated regional commercial team on a wide range of transactions, including origination and overseeing the execution of new and existing structured gas marketing positions, mid-stream development, and managing the ongoing commercial operations of current export Gas Sales Agreements.
** Responsibilities**
- Responsible for managing the Gas Sales and Purchase Agreements for export markets and ensure that contractual obligations under the different agreements are being adhered to.
- Support the delivery of export business plan and collaborating with Strategy & Business Planning in maintaining an up-to-date of the supply and demand profile.
- Maintain and develop close relationships with key stakeholders in the region.
- Develop deal framework and focus on efficient deal execution. Ability to explain highly complex deal structures / strong understanding of commercial value drivers and ability to challenge.
- Deliver deal economics with the ability to commission detailed analysis by Deal Structuring and engage in discussion on quantitative insights.
- Lead negotiations with external counterparties and work with highly experienced multicultural teams.
- Collaborate with other Originators to ensure consistency in the deals structure, with opportunity for learning across regional focus.
- Ensure alignment on deals structure and help develop a strategic view for the growth of the regional portfolio.
- Work closely with the regulatory and compliance teams, adhere to company’s policies and abide with compliance requirements, understanding the framework as translating opportunities/risks for the business and counterparties.
- Support the asset managers and investment teams on future opportunities decision making process.

**Qualifications**
- 7+ years upstream, gas marketing, sales origination and negotiations experience.
- Experience in gas business development / gas origination / gas contract negotiations.
- Commercial acumen backed by in-depth industry knowledge of the markets in the region.
- Proven track record of commercial deal making from deal identification through to delivery.
- Experience in supporting or leading multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural deal teams / project teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage a wide range of different relationships at all levels, including government, internal and external senior management.
- Fluency in English and Arabic are a must, any other language in the region is a plus.
