**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. This role is integral to maintaining robust accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance across both the firm and its investment funds. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors, to deliver accurate and timely financial insights.

**What You'll Do**:

- Maintain proper documentation and data entry practices to ensure audit-readiness.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for the management company and investment entities (GP and LPs).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee expense allocations, invoice processing, and payments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Liaise with fund administrators for investor reporting and capital account statements.
- Assist in annual audits and tax filings in coordination with external CPA firms.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT and social insurance.
- Track investment transactions and support valuation processes.
- Prepare financial reports on portfolio companies.
- Participate in the implementation and use of ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Odoo, Oracle, SAP).
- Identify and recommend improvements to financial workflows and internal controls.

**Who You Are**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA qualification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally within venture capital, startups, SMEs, or audit firms.
- Big 10 audit experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
- Proficient in ERP and accounting systems (Odoo, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
