Senior IT Manager

We’re looking for a **technically skilled and people-savvy leader** to oversee Tabby’s IT infrastructure and office operations in Egypt and the UAE. You will lead a small local team and support 1500+ employees across remote and physical environments, including managing mission-critical sites like our **data center**, **customer support hub (600+ seats)**, and offices in different locations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**IT Infrastructure & Network Management**
- Design, implement, and maintain robust IT networks across multiple sites.
- Troubleshoot network and hardware issues independently, including during critical incidents.
- Lead the IT setup and support for call centers and high-availability data centers.

**Office & Facility Operations**
- Develop and enforce office policies and procedures across Egypt and UAE.
- Manage office logistics: supply ordering, equipment lifecycle, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate office builds and infrastructure design for new locations from the ground up.

**Team Leadership & Coordination**
- Manage and mentor a local team of 2-5 IT and admin professionals.
- Ensure all work is logged and tracked via Jira, promoting accountability and structure.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to respond to requests and deliver solutions quickly.

**Supplier & Vendor Management**
- Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms with suppliers across Egypt and UAE.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Maintain relationships with vendors supporting hardware, networking, and office infrastructure.

**Project & Stakeholder Management**
- Lead infrastructure-related projects from planning to execution, keeping timelines and budgets on track.
- Act as a key point of contact for regional stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and expectations management.
- Support onboarding/offboarding of employees, including IT account setup and hardware provisioning.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:
**Must-Have Technical Expertise**
- Strong background in **network engineering** and IT infrastructure management.
- Proven ability to **design, deploy, and maintain** networks (certifications in Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, or MikroTik are a major plus).
- Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills, especially in high-pressure environments.
- Experience managing IT operations for **large-scale support teams or call centers** (600+ headcount).

**Must-Have Soft & Strategic Skills**
- Strong **leadership** experience with small teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working with **enterprise-level organizations** (1,000+ headcount), especially on complex infrastructure builds and office setup.
- Fluent in English; confident communicator with international stakeholders.
- Effective **project management** and task prioritization skills.

**Big Plus**
- Proficient in **Windows Services** (AD, Azure AD, Powershell), **MacOS administration**, and **Citrix/VDI solutions**.
- Familiar with **Google Workspace**, hardware support, and physical maintenance.
- Prior experience building and managing infrastructure across multiple office locations or countries.
- Certifications from Microsoft or relevant vendors.
