**Role Purpose**:
The position is mainly responsible for coordinating the financial planning cycle of the Shopping Malls Business Unit and supports the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in decision making by the provision of consolidated Management Information, Forecasts and Budgets. In-addition, the position is also responsible within a matrix structure to facilitate a system of financial planning in the SMBU that will ensure the company’s Budgets/Forecasts are prepared in compliance with the company’s applicable financial policies and procedures.

**Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Provide efficient and effective financial planning management support to the SMBU to enable timely
- and accurate decision making.
- Provide assistance and support for a variety of ad hoc initiatives, including financial systems
- improvements, process enhancements etc.
- Implement and maintain reporting control processes within the SMBU that are efficient and effective consistent with the MAFP governance processes.
- Report weaknesses in the internal control system in the SMBU relating to the Planning cycle, identify
- improvements, and accordingly recommend preventive/corrective procedures.
- Communicate and resolve all reporting issues within the SMBU.
- Implement, document, maintain and review including proper analytical review of the operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial results are produced that reflect the true financial condition of operating assets, developments, regions, cost centers, and countries within the SMBU for all fiscal periods.
- Review transaction processing processes to ensure best practice and speed of reporting is maintained.
- Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values in the assigned area of responsibility and ensure that relevant team adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
- Build the capability of staff reporting into by providing on time regular feedback including annual review on performance and identify areas of improvement / reinforcement for further development.
- Manage, guide and mentor the team reporting into and take full responsibility in identifying potential talent and timely supporting professional development.

**Personal Characteristics and Required Background**:

- Professional qualification such as CPA /ACMA /ACCA etc., is a prerequisite.
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience working within a Finance support function.
- Strong knowledge of processes and value drivers within a reputed real estate development / asset management organization in Egypt or abroad in a similar role.
