**Child Safeguarding**:
**Level 3**:the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people _either _frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting the country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

**ROLE PURPOSE**:
Leading all aspects of sponsorship operations, and its related community mobilization efforts in the communities to which the incumbent is assigned. This position will play a leading role with the Minya sponsorship partner NGOs and other stakeholders in designing, planning, coordinating, implementing, reporting, and monitoring the project activities. S/he will have significant responsibilities for delivering timely compiled quality results and to ensure proper coordination between governmental partners and community stakeholders to achieve planned results in adherence to SCI and the Sponsorship Funded Program governing policies on the ground. The post holder will play a key role in building partners’ capacity to be able to serve their communities and contribute to improving children’s lives even beyond the Sponsorship Funded Program life of the program.

**Reports to**:Minya Field Manager.

**Staff directly reporting to this post: 4 Staff **(Community field officer, Data management officer, Quality Communication Coordinator, Program operations officer).

**FIELD Travel**:Post holder is expected to spend a minimum of **50% of his/her time **in the field supporting his/her staff and working with Partners’ NGOs.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Lead all Sponsorship operations related duties in Mallawi including the Annual Family Update campaign (AFU), Mid-Year Eligibility Check campaign (MYEC), and enrolment drives. Oversee collection of child data, photos, marketing assets, and child-to-sponsor correspondence.
- Ensure technical support is provided to PNGO staff and ensure field staff is able to raise communities’ acceptance around the Child Sponsorship Program among parents, communities, and local leaders.
- Perform quality checks on parental consent, letters, child data, and photos to ensure they are authentic, timely, engaging and of acceptable quality to mail to sponsors.
- Work closely with program staff to ensure program participation for enrolled children, making sure quarterly benefits are provided to all enrolled children in accordance with Sponsorship Procedures.
- Establishes maintains, and provides guidance and support to staff and partners to ensure that standardized systems, policies, and procedures are in place, well understood by partners, and in accordance with SCI systems and policies are implemented in an appropriate manner, as well as a deep understanding of results that ensures quality implementation.
- Lead budget development and tracking related to Sponsor Servicing in Mallawi, ensuring proper budget maintenance and execution through monthly analysis of expenditures, ensuring effective use of Sponsor Servicing budget.
- Update the budget tracker with all sponsorship servicing expenses and compare it with the GL and BVA.
- Contribute towards having a precise budget forecast for the project with the project team.
- Oversee and support the cash flow, program advances and cash request projections for all program expenditures.
- Monitor the documentation and tracking tools for project financial requests and follow up on payment release and settlement according to SCI regulations and policies.
- Develop the project and annual procurement plans in coordination with the project team and as per the project work plans.
- Oversee the procurement processes and ensure compliance and filing of required documents in accordance with Donor and SCI policies in collaboration with the procurement department.
- Oversee the support of the partners in their tracking systems on the financial expenditures and reporting.
- Coordinate on the partner's planning process is completed on time, as well as developing a collective grant management plan with a budget.
- Manage, support, and mentor the operation officers to ensure timely implementation and effective cross-collaboration, which aids in the quality achievement of planned targets and efficient resource use.
- Ensure the grants are managed as per Save the Children’s requirements including the quality and timely submission of reports.
