In this role you will be reporting to Channel Manager and will be responsible to provide best in class technical and commercial sales activities, be the technical domain expertise and go-to person for internal and external customers, select and identify the best fit and cost efficient solutions to meet customer requirements and value-based offerings to ensure ABB is well positioned to win matching customer needs **Your responsibilities**: - Independent product selection and knowhow of complete offering portfolio, be go-to person for sales for technically complex cases and larger projects where product management expertise is required, preparation of marketing material for digital offerings, advanced and value proposition to promote offerings - Ensuring complete and timely quotes, average response time for offers shall not exceed 2 days, preparing technical and commercial offers for standard products and discussing with customer to finalize order and Support selling the full portfolio - Ensuring we have professional templates and implement a consistent offering touch and feel to the customer motion as a whole and updating databases - (Customer, Supplier, Risk Review, ABB install base tools) and suppouting to achieve OR targets set with GM% planned - cost efficient solution offerings - Coordinating with sales team to ensure ontime order booking, time sheet entry and revenues, coordinating with partners for training, price list, offers and orders, participating in conferences, workshops, lunch and learn sessions and conducting training sessions for customers and key stakeholders - Supporting order handlers and project managers in execution where applicable, providing support for receivables collection and having high amount of accuracy and speed are needed to ensure ontime offering with zero errors - High availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical customer requests such as emergency shutdowns, warranty cases, failures and related immediate support requests, professional update for SFDC and sales tools to ensure propeor sales pipeline management - Proper documentation for orders and contracts to ensure professional hand over to operations, contributing to sales winning strategy with best in class sales and technical support, preparing FCM and costing sheets in full alignment with sales, operations, SCM and controlling - Working closely with sales in formulating strategies, strong collaboration with all business functions like SCM, controlling HSE and operations, proactive approach to improve the process and performance, supporting in identifying new sales opportunities - Setting winning strategies, pricing, margins according to division and business area strategy, defining, recording and archiving account plans for assigned accounts including player maps, contacts, risks, opportunities, challenges and future investment plans in full coordination with sales team **Your background**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or Mechatronics Engineering - Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a similar role - Comprehensive technical understanding of motion business is a plus - Understanding of commercial terms and conditions - defend and negotiate profitable and risk-free contracts as per ABB guidelines - Preferably some knowledge about drive-motor communication protocols to support development of power train and ABB Ability offerings - Strong understanding of motors & drive as a system, relentless ownership, dedication and thoroughness and going the extra-mile and showing devotion for the mission - Fluency in English, French and Arabic languages is mandatory **Benefits**: - Retirement plan **More about us**: ABB Drive Products is a technology leader serving industries, infrastructure and machine builders with world-class drives and soft starters.
