The Projects Manager is an expatriate position for Apache Corporation and will be a member of Apache’s Facilities Engineering team at the company’s Cairo, Egypt office. The Projects Manager provides leadership and direction for the General Projects Division responsible for the execution of facility capital projects.

**This role will be primarily responsible for the following**:

- Coordinating with the Projects General Manager national counterpart as part of the KPC Joint Venture to accomplish APA and KPC goals;
- Ensure work activities required for the successful implementation of the facilities capital projects plan are completed in a timely manner, activities include: engineering, project planning, material and equipment selection and procurement, project approvals, construction activities, construction management, project closeout, and cost control;
- Managing activities of field construction personnel for KPC from the national side and Apache Consultants along with third party contractors for project execution;
- Develop facility project execution plan and estimated capital budget for current year as well multi-year forecast plans and budgets;
- Managing project completion and capital budget outlook status and forecast; and
- Interface with Asset Team and Planning in Houston for facility capital projects plan and outlook approvals;
- Interface with Reservoir, G&G, Drilling, Planning, Operations, Development Lead and Asset Team for planning and development of facility capital projects;
- Follow drilling / completion schedule and Development Lead guidance for current and future projects;
- Approve the selection of contract vendors and suppliers to utilize during planning and development tasks;
- Ensure safety and engineering best practices are addressed in all aspects of work planning and execution;
- Accountable for the development of capital budgets, detailed engineering designs, and execution of scopes of work for facility projects;
- Monitor status of overall project schedule, budget costs and outlook; and
- Report project progress outlook to the Asset Team and GMs. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor or Masters Degree Educated (in Engineering or Relevant Subject Matter)
- Minimum 15 Years Project Management, Planning, and Delivery Experience
- Full understanding of standard practices and interfacing requirements with Project Planning, Development, Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities
- Full understanding of Apache guidelines and processes
- Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and planning skills. Competencies
