**Role Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Commercial Officer** to support our order management and commercial operations team. In this role, you will assist in processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries, managing documentation, and supporting invoicing and payment follow-ups. You will work closely with the Commercial Order Manager, Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth and timely order execution in compliance with Siemens’ guidelines.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background, familiarity with order processing systems, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced technical environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and verification of customer order documents (POs, quotations, calculation sheets).
- Support order entry and system booking activities in alignment with internal guidelines and commercial rules.
- Monitor stock availability and follow up on purchase requisitions and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely goods receipt and delivery to customers.
- Generate and dispatch Order Acknowledgements and ship documents as required.
- Assist in the invoicing process by preparing basic commercial invoices and supporting documentation.
- Follow up on customer payments and coordinate cheque handling and documentation with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, deliveries, and invoices.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing costing sheets, maintaining trackers, and resolving customer queries.
- Participate in backlog clean-up efforts and ensure data consistency across systems.
- Prepare certificates (e.g. warranty, conformity) and assist in formalities related to delivery and compliance.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to the Commercial Order Manager or Finance team.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Logistics, or a related field.
- Multiple years’ work experience in commercial operations, order processing, or administrative support in a technical or multinational environment.
- Familiarity with SAP (or equivalent ERP systems) is a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of Incoterms, order-to-cash cycle, and commercial documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
