Description

**Communication**:
Improve Bank staff's risk awareness to increase their ability to perform self assessment on their daily operations and their losses reporting
Implement SLA with other control functions

**Reporting**:
Submitting the regulatory agencies/committees reports to Incident mgmt., Access mgmt., Awareness, Control reports Unit Head

**Policies, processes and procedures**: (Standard for First Line Management levels)

Implement approved department policies, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

**Day-to-Day Management**: (Standard for First Line Management levels)

Ensure timely measurement and escalation of all Incidents, Access mgmt., Awareness, Control reports to Incident mgmt., Access mgmt., Awareness, Control reports Unit Head.

Ensure completeness & correctness of related tools documentation.

Ensure that reports related to Incidents, Access mgmt., Awareness, Control reports are timely reported to Incidents mgmt., Access mgmt., Awareness, Control reports Unit Head.

Ensure completeness & correctness of related tools documentation & completeness/ correctness of registered data on the system.

Ensure adequacy of controls design and effectiveness.

Ensure appropriate remedial actions and control's enhancement from the business lines to minimize control gaps and losses.

Providing needed ORM guidance to ORM coordinators / bank's staff, to develop their awareness and enhance the Operational risk culture within the bank to ensure smooth workflow through embedding ORM Tools.

Assist business management in identifying, measuring, monitoring and reporting inherent/ residual risks, to enhance their role as a first line of defense.

**Compliance**: (Standard for First Line Management levels)

Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Bachelor Degree (accounting / finance / business administration / economics. -related certifications are considered an asset (CORO, CORP, FRM,..)

5-7 years of experience in banking sector 3 years of experience in ORM.

Experience within Banking Industry is necessary.

**Skills**:
Excellent command of English and Arabic languages (written and spoken)

Excellent leadership, decision making and negotiation skills

Excellent communication skills

Excellent planning and organizing skills

Excellent Business Acumen of external market and up-to date market trends and practices.
