**What you’ll do**:
Role purpose:
Developing network strategies and architectures for mobile and enterprise business goals, while in collaboration with VF Group/Vodacom. Moreover, influencing with vendors to shape their roadmaps in addition to evaluate emerging microwave technologies. Accordingly, we can devise proper plans for deploying microwave links to maximize coverage, capacity, and resilience while minimizing expenses and aid in facing the budgetary challenges
Key accountabilities and decision ownership

1. Network Strategy development and architecture to achieve various business objectives for mobile and enterprise.
2. Collaborate with VF Group/Vodacom to ensure standardization and synergy.
3. Cooperate with vendors to steer their roadmaps and assess new microwave technologies, equipment, and methodologies for potential adoption to stay ahead of industry trends.
4. Leading pilot projects to assess the viability and performance impacts of innovative solutions and share its output with planning functions for mass deployment on the relative use cases.
5. Strategizing the deployment of microwave links to maximize coverage, capacity, and resilience while minimizing costs in alignment with budget function.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience
- Education: BSC in Electrical Engineering majoring in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering
- Work Experience: minimum 7 Years’ Experience in Transmission field focusing on Access Transport. (Preferred 10+ years)
- Strong knowledge with Transmission concepts and continuous engaged with latest technologies.
- Full understanding of network demands/needs and ability to transform it into scalable and innovative solutions.
- Problem solving and decision-making ability in challenging and dynamic environment.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Excellent Knowledge in Microwave wireless communications and Fiber Optics.
- Good knowledge of Data analytics and python programming.
- IP Knowledge is a plus
