**Role Overview**:
As a **Data Architect**, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall data architecture strategy for the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into scalable, high-performance architectures. Your role will encompass everything from data modeling and database design to ensuring that data pipelines are optimized for security, reliability, and scalability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain the organization's data architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models, databases, and data integration processes.
- Define data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business units to ensure the data infrastructure supports current and future use cases.
- Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies and tools that will optimize our data ecosystem.
- Oversee the integration of external data sources, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data architecture and analytics.

**Key Qualifications**:

- **7+ years of experience** in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles.
- Proven experience designing and building enterprise-level data architectures.
- Expertise in relational, NoSQL, and cloud-native databases (e.g., **PostgreSQL**, **MongoDB**, **AWS Redshift**, **Azure SQL**).
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL design, and data integration.
- Experience with big data technologies such as **Hadoop**, **Spark**, or **Kafka**.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as **AWS**, **Azure**, or **Google Cloud**.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management (MDM).
- Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines using tools like **Airflow**, **DBT**, or **Fivetran**.
- Strong knowledge of data security standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **data lakes** and **data warehouses**.
- Knowledge of **machine learning** and **AI** data architecture requirements.
- Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools such as **Tableau**, **Power BI**, or **Looker**.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or data-related technologies.
