You will be part of a visionary, customer-focused team with an ambitious mission-to become a trailblazer for digital retail within the Middle East. **Responsibilities**: Manage and mentor a team of data engineers to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that support business objectives. Architect and implement efficient data storage solutions to support real-time analytics and batch processing needs. Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in alignment with industry standards. Drive the adoption of modern data engineering technologies and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and infrastructure. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. - Proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts. - Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and other relevant languages. - Hands-on experience with cloud data technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with diverse teams. - Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards addressing data-related challenges. **Benefits** **Office environment**: When you come to our b_labs office, you'll find creative workspaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and an open design to foster collaboration between teams. **Flexibility**: You know best whether you want to work from home or in the office.
