**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- Responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Head of Finance in carrying out the responsibilities of the finance department.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Update financial data (AR - AP - Budget) in databases to ensure that information is accurate and available when needed.
- Review School petty cash expenses and make the reconciliation.
- Make sure that all requirements by Egyptian Tax authority and Ministry of Education have been Addressed.
- Review daily accounting documentation.
- Assist in monthly annual financial closing Provide financial statements and ensure all reporting deadlines are met
- Provide annual accounts for certification and tax statements and communicate to the auditors Ensure reliable and appropriate accounting processes and standards regarding to local international legal requirements.
- Ensure efficient use of all financial systems and tools Ensure that payments of statutory liabilities are made within prescribed time limits.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- 5-8 years of experience in accounting (payable - receivable - tax....)
- Fluent in English.
- Big 4 experience is preferable.
- School experience is an advantage.
- Ready to join immediately.
- Giza resident is preferable.
