The transition project manager (TPM) is responsible for for leading a team that will deliver transitions into Global Solutoins. Scope will include, but not limited to, services across Finance, Human Capital, Government Relations, Procurement and Technology. The transition project manager will deliver transitions scope, on-time and at budget and manage the stakeholders across the implementation.

**Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
The transition project manager will follow the transition methodology across the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. He/She will provide day-to-day management of the project and be accountable for delivering the project final outcomes. This includes responsibility in the following project management areas:

- Work with the solution design teams to fully understand the scope and the definition of success
- Mobilize the core team, with support from the sponsor
- Develop a clear charter and conduct a kick-off meeting with the core and extended team
- Develop integrated project plans using the GS transition methodology
- Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
- Report to the steering committee about the project progress, risks and issues that require attention.
- Periodically track and assess the project risks and develop plans to mitigate such risks.
- Continuously communicate with various project stakeholders to align them towards set project goals.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline work plan.
- Establish work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives.
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in the delivery.

- The role will support the entire cross functional GS organization of ~1200 team members, across service performance and reporting and governance. The role will directly support GS executive leadership and mid-management. Transition scope and scale will vary.

**Minimum Qualifications/education**
- University Degree in business, computer science or mathametics
- Maters degree preferred in above fields
- PMI or equivalent certification
