The individual will be the point of contact of the business for all employee relation concerns and work with team members to implement effective people strategies. They need to have an excellent understanding of the company, its strategy and customers, and a very good understanding of the people challenges faced by the company. - Location: Remote, Egypt - Employment Type: Contractor - Work schedule: Pacific time zone (PST) - We offer equity **What You'll "Mostly" Do** - Engage regularly with teams regarding employee relations and create development plans - Manage and resolve people related concerns such employee relations, performance, and engagement - Work closely with key stakeholders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention - Provide guidance on structure and implementation of people strategies - Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the business units to develop solutions, programs and policies - Perform other related duties as assigned **What We Look For First**: - 5 years experience as an HR business partner for a US company or equivalent - Bachelor's degree or higher - Experience working as an HR generalist - Meticulous attention to detail - Strong leadership and people skills - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - Highly organized and proactive **Bonus Superpowers**: - Fast-growing startup experience preferred - Love and passion for boating LI-Remote - We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
