You will be working as Service Engineer and will be part of Process Automation business area for Energy Industries division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Service Delivery Manager and will be responsible to execute Service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performs Service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.)
- Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation
- Maintains a good relationship with customers. Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally
- Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities
- Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed
- Troubleshoots simple equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
- Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service
- Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents

**Your background**:

- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Automation & Control
- 2 to 5 years of experience in DCS and control systems
- Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required
