**Job description**
- Develop mechanical design strategies and contribute to technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare and validate detailed engineering documents like equipment schedules, BOQs, and design layouts.
- Oversee site installations, monitor progress, and ensure works align with project specifications.
- Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Participate in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure smooth execution across trades.
- Communicate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities for technical compliance and approvals.
- Ensure project timelines, safety standards, and quality expectations are met.
- Support and guide junior engineers and supervise works on-site.

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems in buildings (commercial, residential, high-rise, healthcare, etc.).
- Hands-on knowledge of Kuwait's construction and regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and mechanical design tools.
- Knowledge of relevant codes: ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local codes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- KSE membership or eligibility is a plus.
