  • Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems and components for port infrastructure and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and operations departments, to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project planning and execution.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing mechanical processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure all mechanical engineering activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for procurement and project delivery.
  • Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
  • Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for critical mechanical assets.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Excellent knowledge of Hydraulic circuits and diesel engines
  • Experience at least 3 years in heavy equipment's such as mobile cranes, wheel loaders & material handlers.
  • Minimum of 3 years and up to 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
