**Role Purpose**:
The Key Account Manager plays an important role in building long-term relationships focused on generating triple win collaborative opportunities. Successful key account managers will need advanced strategic and relationship management, and creative engagement plans with key payers.

Capabilities should include being able to build trust, value, and access in achieving our mission to improve patient health outcomes, also to enhance sales growth and profitability within key accounts in public and institutional sectors.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Understanding of the formulary inclusion process in all types of accounts in Egypt.
- Managing and influencing formulary processes via mapping of various key players.
- Acute sense of the competitive landscape, and stakeholders ecosystem.
- Ensure that sales targets of the accounts are achieved or exceeded by developing sales implementation plans in line with the approved marketing strategy and managing the flawless execution of those plans.
- Understands and communicates internally & externally on supply management related issues, to ensure products availability & patient access to Organon’s products.
- Obtaining a thorough understanding of Organon’s negotiation position relative to each product in the portfolio as the basis for business case development and value demonstration.
- Driving financial efficiencies through gross to net (G2N) optimization strategies.
- Monitoring metrics and KPIs (Inventory, Consumption, Expiries...etc) according to the tracking plan and re-shaping account strategy and operational activities based on learnings.
- Understanding of multiple payor segments within the current environment.
- Understanding of funding and resource allocation by different payer entities.
- Identifying and collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders who are influential on the decision-making authorities for different therapeutic areas
- Supporting the sales and marketing teams to drive growth of products, to maximize the business outcomes.
- Understanding health authorities’ landscape to be able to recommend prices, and initiate negotiations & discussion with key stakeholders
- Able to work in a cross functional manner, towards achieving objectives in the key accounts.
- Partner with internal and external key stakeholders to identify opportunities within assigned key accounts.
- Explore partnership initiative with assigned accounts to develop and implement different programs to boost inclusion and utilization of our Products.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for underwriting, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.
- High Commercial Acumen skills.

**E**ducation Minimum Requirement**

Bachelor in pharmacy, dentistry, medicine, or veterinary medicine

**Qualifications, Skills & Required**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in progressive sales working in the Egypt pharmaceutical market with proven records of high performance in public and institutional sectors, preferably having key account management experience.
- High level of self-motivation and passion.
- Results oriented with ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging assignments.
