We are currently seeking a **Business Intelligence Developer** to join our **Brightly Team** in **Cairo, Egypt**.

In the role of **Business Intelligence Developer** at **Brightly**, you will be responsible for various aspects related to architecture design, enhancement, maintenance, administration, and continuous development of Reporting (including SnowFlake general and app-connected) and Analytics (dashboards) solutions.

Your main focus will be on the technical aspects of Brightly's BI tooling platforms, ensuring their effectiveness, and contributing to the delivery of incremental business value within an agile environment.

As the Business Intelligence Developer, you will act as a crucial link between the business and data engineering teams. Your primary objective will be to create robust analytics solutions for Brightly's Business Units. This will involve translating business objectives into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with development and analysts to design systems that accurately collect these metrics for our users.

Your background should showcase a strong expertise in BI tooling implementation, and you should feel comfortable writing code to tackle challenges. Moreover, you possess a solid understanding of data analytics development teams and how engineers approach problem-solving in this domain.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Establish highly structured standards and best practices for dashboards for the project and server administration automation.
- Design a BI administration foundation and implement a long-term strategy.
- Support the team with an understanding of business and data requirements.
- Manage and initial build where required of BI tooling (self and cloud hosted) infrastructure or integrations including:

- BI tooling server code to a shared management approach for multiple products using the BI tool features differently.
- Establish and maintain mature metadata code/configuration repository and catalog management.
- Code testing and notifications to Product of status updates to integrate with other tooling (for example: Teams).
- Build repository of catalogs connected to each Product’s environments.
- Disaster & recovery business continuity processes.
- Manage SMTP connections.
- Generate a process for accessible logging from report writer teams including user access activity logs for Data Security purposes.
- Create and manage BI tooling client & user group standards with documentation available to product engineering teams.
- Manager distribution of BI tooling licenses.
- Document programmatic tenant permissions integration into BI tooling.
- Set upgrade process checks to ensure fast identification of issues.
- Documentation on all items with flow charts for Product team clarity.

**Required skills, knowledge and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- +3 years of BI Development experience.
- Administration of BI tooling in multiple SAAS-based environments for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Proficient in Installation, Configuration, Tuning and Administration of BI Products such as: QlikView/QlikSense, or Logi.
- Hands on experience and expertise in BI tooling (e.g. Logi, Exago, Qlik, Tableau, etc ), including embedding in a SAAS product, data modeling/data analysis and databases such as Snowflake.
- Savviness with complex SQL queries and knowledge of database technologies including window and analytical functions.
- Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
- Ability to design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support end user requisites and experiences.
- Develop innovative solutions, taking into consideration performance, scalability, and availability with realistic implementation schedules.
- Change management including upgrades, monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements. Performance tuning / Server management.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
