As part of a specific stream, a Community Manager is responsible for handling several assigned social media accounts across various platforms -Work closely with Content teams to implement best practices in preparing and repurposing content for each channel -Develop strategies and success metrics (KPIs) for assigned platforms, and monitor achievements against unit target (Growth, Engagement, Retention, and Traffic) -Moderate the conversation on social platforms to ensure a healthy presence in line with MBC policies -Responsible for the ongoing operational management, strategic content development, and assist in the improvement of the Community management team and their functions -Implement content calendars and forward tasks to different resources as best fits in the content produced -Work on established relationships with cross-departmental stakeholders, and follow-through on assigned accounts -Collaborate with Editorial team and other Community Managers on community and crisis response plans -Needs to be perceptive and articulate in delivering the most engaging content on all digital platforms -Prepare weekly, monthly reports for Senior Community Manager’s review, listing the growth/engagement and traffic of overall platforms with recommendations on areas of improvements
- Bachelor Degree in Mass-Communications, Marketing or/ Digital Marketing degree from a reputable University - Experience in Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Brand Community Management, and/or Community Support Operations -Understand social buzz and viral content in order to utilize it to grow engagement within assigned accounts -Strong organization, peoples and communication skills -Strong relationship management and solution-seeking skills -Should exhibit past tactical operational delivery -Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking, reading and writing) -Ability to collect and organize data to build comprehensive reports that are ‘objectives’ driven -Time-management skills and respectful of stringent deadlines of delivery -Familiar with the business side of social media platforms, with ability to identify and evaluate upcoming ones -Ability to use essential social media tracking and publishing tools
