**Vacancy**:
We are hiring a Packaging Supervisor to be responsible for finished-products packaging activities within the production team and to monitor the performance of the packaging personnel under domain of the role responsibility as per the following details:

**Job Purpose**:
The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of all packaging and labeling operations and ensures adherence to all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements. Schedules packaging line activities and oversees daily performance against established standards and schedules

**A.Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Execute the packaging planning based on the marketing requirement, manpower, and equipment capacity. Ensure product quality meets the specification all the time
- Supervise a team in packaging, training them on SOPs, cGMP, investigations, CAPAs, protocols and handling quality issues with respect to packaging department
- Maintain a GMP compliant work area. Ensuring the production of high-quality products while meeting regulatory, and company requirements for production department
- Involve the most effective and efficient use of available resources to produce products that meet or exceed product requirements for cost, quality, and delivery
- Responsible for execution of cleaning verification/validation of packaging equipment
- Monitor packaging related change controls, deviations, investigations, and implementing the CAPAs for completion on time and implementation of action items. Ensure packaging records, protocols and reports review and approving as necessary
- Enforcement of all safety and SOP procedures
- Report to departmental head about ongoing measurement identifying progress, issues and corrective action status, and planned projects
- Supervise the finished product labeling and packaging of MultiCare's product packaging in blister or pouches in control environment
- Work with other functions to identify and resolve labeling inconsistencies with labeling material and requirements and to meet set objectives
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance cGMP’s
- Recommend and implement production process improvements to improve quality, reduce cost, and improve safety
- Identify the developmental needs of others and provide coaching, mentoring, and encouragement to help others to improve their knowledge or skills
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels
- Assist with various special ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

**B. Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in science or related discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Pharmacy, etc) ,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus
- Minimum of 4 years work experience in a pharmaceutical production area, **preferably in Solid Dosage Forms production lines**:

- Solid leadership experience resulting in sound functional understanding of pharmaceutical packaging processes
