**Opportunity Overview - Junior Structural Engineering Intern | Entry-Level Co-op Programme**:
**Main Responsibilities - Junior Structural Engineering | Project Support, Learning & Collaboration**:

- Assist engineers and technical teams with the analysis, design, and detailing of structural elements for diverse building and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering sketches, calculations, CAD drawings, physical and digital models, and technical documentation in support of the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding structural design, sustainability, and constructability of designs.
- Undertake site visits, surveys, and inspections accompanied by senior staff, gaining firsthand knowledge of the construction process and engineering best practice.
- Support project teams in ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and quality requirements.
- Contribute to research, innovation, and continuous improvement activities within the structures team, including sustainability initiatives and new technologies.
- Engage with mentorship, professional development sessions, and structured learning opportunities tailored to early-career development in engineering.
- Uphold high standards of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility in all tasks assigned.

- Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a closely related discipline with a graduation date expected in 2026 or 2027.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for structural engineering, and interest in sustainable design and infrastructure development.
- Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design principles, with experience using relevant software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) an advantage.
- Strong written, verbal, and numerical communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn, and the ability to ask questions and seek guidance where necessary.
- Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and readiness to work flexibly as part of a team environment.
- Previous related internship, co-op, placement, or work experience is a plus but not essential.
- Commitment to inclusivity, professional ethics, and continuous professional development.
