The Role
**Job description**:

- Write clean, scalable, and well-structured PHP code across multiple projects.
- Perform unit testing and end-to-end testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Estimate time and effort required for tasks, and deliver work on time.
- Participate in planning sessions and write code according to functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, project managers, and other developers.
- Work independently and as a team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

**Personal skills**:

- PHP (Laravel required)
- MySQL / SQL
- RESTful API development
- JavaScript / jQuery / Vue.js (optional)
- SOLID principles, object-oriented design, design patterns in PHP
- Git & Git-Flow
- Code quality & best practices
- Testing (PHPUnit, feature testing, etc.)
- Problem solving & debugging

**Technical skills**:

- Strong experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) with PHP.
- Proficiency in modern PHP frameworks (Laravel is a must; Symfony is a plus).
- Good understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Strong knowledge in MySQL database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to Docker, Composer, and other development tools.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
