Duties
:

  • Delivering exceptional high-quality software solutions using PHP Laravel framework.
  • Performing comprehensive analysis of business challenges to devise efficient and effective solutions for our customers.
  • Modernizing and enhancing existing legacy systems with PHP Laravel development best practices.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for ongoing projects.

Skills
:

  • Computer Science or Engineering graduate or equivalent degrees
  • 3+ years of experience as PHP Laravel backend engineer.
  • A strong passion for technology and software development.
  • Proficiency in PHP Laravel framework, object-oriented programming, and PHP coding skills.
  • Expertise in working with relational databases and using SQL, including experience with MySQL, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Eloquent ORM for Laravel.
  • Ability to create, secure, and integrate with REST APIs.
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration, such as OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0.
  • Proficiency in working with real-time push notifications using web sockets.
  • Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cross-cutting concerns like logging, authorization, caching, and background tasks.
  • Working with Git Source control.
  • Ability to work with production environments and web servers like Nginx.
  • Solid understanding of development design principles and design patterns and familiarity with design patterns such as Dependency Injection (DI), Singleton, Repository, and Unit of Work.
  • Experience working with Redis for caching and data storage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.

Optional / Nice to Have Skills
:

  • Experience working on enterprise-scale or large systems development is advantageous.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Understanding of OWASP top 10 security risks and best practices for mitigating them.
  • Knowledge of clean architecture principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts.
