**Job Title**: Senior Protection and Switchgear (LV/MV) Commissioning Engineer

**Your Role - International, Challenging & Future-Oriented**

In this role you will manage projects in Testing and commissioning of Protection relays Medium Voltage Systems and Protection & Automation Systems.
- Perform Installation, testing, commissioning & maintenance activities on Siemens protection relays, MV /LV Switchgears.
- Ensuring that all project related activities are planned and executed in accordance with QA standards and procedures, the relevant project documentation, as well as health and safety requirements
- Support sales, project and planning departments in the project execution, customer meetings, preparation of tenders, time schedules and requirement lists
- Interfaces across different BU’s, customers, PMs and factories to ensure the project delivery milestones.
- Identifies potential delays and minimizes their impact. Supports claim management
- Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) with internal teams and customers.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS guidelines and participate in internal/external audits.
- Operate various types of test equipment as required.
- Provide product and process training to test engineers.
- Mentor junior engineers, field service technician and support cross-functional team (CFT) collaboration.

**Additional Duties**:

- Maintain 5S and general upkeep of the work area.
- Participate in audits and problem-solving activities.
- Occasionally perform duties of Final Quality Release Engineer or FAT Supervisor.
- Visit vendor premises for in-process inspections.
- Suggest improvements in quality and safety processes.

**Your Qualifications & Skills - Digital & Solid**
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Several years of experience in commissioning and configuration of Protection and Switchgear LV/MV (Siemens experience preferred).
- Proven experience working in multicultural project environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Siemens tools such as DIGSI.
- Understanding of IEC 61850 engineering: GOOSE messaging, SCD/ICD/CID file creation, and control logic configuration in BCPU/BCU.
- Experience with Protection schemes in transmission substations (500kV/220kV/66kV): Line Distance Protection, Differential Protection, Transformer Protection, Busbar Protection, etc.
- Awareness of new technologies like Process Bus, advanced RTUs, and digital substations.
- Knowledge of competitor products is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge.
- Flexibility to travel, both within the country and internationally, based on project needs.
- Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal—for customer and stakeholder interaction.
