This is an opportunity to join a great marketing team handling one of the biggest and most excitement operating units in Medtronic The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Cardiac Ablation solutions (CAS) for Emerging Africa.
The senior marketing specialist is expected to lead and execute on the regional Marketing and Market Development strategies and tactical plans to achieve Medtronic growth targets within CRM & CAS.
**A Day in the Life**
- Partner with the countries sales teams across Emerging Africa (EA) to achieve their annual operating plan.
- Localize and cascade marketing campaigns and competitive marketing messages to the sales team.
- Support the current expansion in product launches through planning and overseeing execution of launch plans and ensure teams in the countries are aware and equipped.
- Develop and grow relationships with key customers across the region.
- Monitor and highlight competitive trends and activities and track market share.
- Contribute to the integrated business planning process.
- Partner with upstream marketing and training and education teams.
**Must Haves**
- Business degree or Bachelor of Science
- Previous Cardiac Rhythm Management ( CRM) or Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- 3-5 year of medical devices or pharmaceutical experience
- Clear track record of leading programs and initiatives
- Previous product portfolio management and optimization experience
- Managed a comprehensive product that has shown measurable success
- Strong communication skills
- Arabic and English speaking
**Nice to Haves**
- Master’s in business administration is a plus
- French speaking
